Abstract:
The concept of regional dual-nuclei structure was first proposed by Lu Yuqi, which originally refers to a spatial structure phenomenon composed of regional central city, port city and their connection. Based on the statistical data of 259 prefecture-level cities in China from 2009 to 2019, the authors integrated the spatial Durbin model to analyze the economic development distribution characteristics of regional dual-nuclei structure in provincial level of China. The dataset includes: (1) the spatial adjacency matrix between provinces; (2) score of centrality and gateway indicators in cities in 2001, 2006, 2009, 2014, and 2019; (3) rating data for airports, train stations, and ports in cities and (4) the calculated data from the statistical yearbooks. The dataset is archived in. xlsx format, and consists of 2 data files with data size of 448 KB. The research paper based on this dataset will be published at Acta Geographica Sinica, Vol.78, No.10, 2023.
