Abstract:

The spatial dataset of waterbird habitat in the coastal wetlands of the Yellow and Bohai Seas, China (2020) was developed based on citizen science data derived from birding websites and bioclimate data using species distribution model MaxEnt and spatial analysis. The eight endangered species are Spoon-billed Sandpiper, Great Knot, Far Eastern Curlew, Nordmann’s Greenshank, Black-faced Spoonbill, Chinese Egret, Relict Gull, and Saunders’s Gull. The spatial resolution of the dataset is 0.0011698588° (about 100 m). The dataset is archived in .tif format, and consists of 60 data files with data size of 3.07 GB (Compressed into one file with 1.69 MB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at Acta Eclogica Sinica, Vol.43, No.15, 2023.
