Abstract：
Xinjiang Kalamaili Mountain Ungulate Wildlife Nature Reserve (referred to as the reserve) was established in April 1982. It is located in the eastern edge of the Junggar Basin and covers Fukang City, Jimsar County, Qitai County in the Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, and Fuyun County, Qinghe County and Fuhai County in the Altay Region. The geo-location of the reserve is between 88°30'00"E and 90°03'00"E, 44°40'00"N and 46°00'00"N, with an area of 14,774.56 km². In the reserve, the area of two core regions is 5,355.00 km², which is 36.24% of the total area; the area of two buffer regions is 3,730.10 km², accounting for 25.25% of the total area; the experimental area is 5,689.46 km², accounting for 38.51% of the total area. The dataset includes the boundary data of the reserve and function areas, including the core area, the buffer area, and the experimental area. The dataset is archived in .shp data format, and consists of 46 files with data size of 30.2 KB (Compressed into one file with 18.5 KB).
