Abstract:

The Qinghai Lake Basin is located in the northeastern part of the Tibetan Plateau, it is a gene pool of bird species in the Tibetan Plateau. In August 2023, we monitored waterbirds (waterfowls) at 26 sample sites in 24 observation stations in the basin. The monitoring contents include: habitat type, bird species name and number, etc. Then the monitoring dataset on waterbirds in Qinghai Lake Basin (2023) was obtained. The dataset includes: (1) general information on waterbirds monitoring area in 2023; (2) waterbirds monitoring data in Qinghai Lake basin; (3) evaluation of waterbirds dominant species; (4) waterbirds richness; (5) photos of waterbirds in 2023. The dataset is archived in .xlsx, .jpg, and .docx data formats, and consists of 6 data files with data size of 22.4 MB (Compressed into one file with 22.4 MB).
