Abstract：

The dataset of rubber plantation and its change in Xishuangbanna (2014-2018) was developed using the Change Rate of Normalized Burn Ratio (CRNBR), NDVI and ASTER GDEM based on the Landsat-8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) images over Xishuangbanna during the dry seasons of 2014 and 2018. The spatial and temporal change of rubber plantation was obtained using the spatial analysis using the ArcGIS 10.5 platform. The dataset includes: (1) geo-location data of the study area; (2) spatial distribution of rubber plantation in Xishuangbanna in 2014 and 2018; (3) spatial change, including invariant area, reduced area and expansion area, of rubber plantations in Xishuangbanna from 2014 to 2018; (4) the statistical data of rubber plantation in counties of Xishuangbanna from 2014 to 2018. The dataset is archived in .shp, .tif and .xlsx data formats. It consists of 39 data files with data size of 77.4 MB (Compressed to one single file with data size of 2.55 MB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published in Journal of Geo-information Science, Vol. 21, No. 3, 2019.
