Abstract：
Parlung Zangbo River Basin is located in the southeastern of Tibet Autonomous Region, China. It borders the Nyainqentanglha Mountains in the north, the Boshula Mountains in the east, the Qilinggong Mountain in the south, and extends in the southeast-northwest direction. The dataset of glaciers and glacial lakes in the ParlungZangbo River Basin, China (1968-2016) was developed based on the maps in 1968 and Landsat TM/OLI images during 1994, 2005, 2016. The dataset includes: (1) glacier data in 1968 and 2016; (2) glacial lakes data in 1968, 1994, 2005 and 2016. The dataset is archived in .shp data format, consists of 48 data files with data size of 6.90 MB (compressed to one single file with 3.91 MB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at Journal of Lake Sciences, Vol.31, No.4, 2019.
