Abstract:
Gannan grassland’s ecological environment has been disturbed by the increasing of tourism activities. The dataset of tourism activities’ impact to the vegetation in the Sangke Prairie (2013) was developed based on the 80 quadrats which are 100cmX100cm square on tourist spot of Sangke Prairie, Gannan Grassland from 11th to 21st, July, 2013. The records including the average height of grass group, coverage, plant species, and number of plant species. The species rate, coverage rate, height rate, index of vegetation integrity, Simpson diversity index, Shannon-Wiener diversity index, and Pielou evenness index to reflect the disturbing degree of plant growth under influence of tourists’ activities had been calculated. This dataset includes four parts: (1) Diagrammatic sketches of sample plots set on both sides of the footpath, around the shop and the recreation area; (2) Location and description data of three kinds of sample area; (3) Rate of evaluation factor of vegetation in different interference areas; (4) Average of Simpson’ diversity index and Pielou evenness index of plants in different interference areas; (5) Linear fitting result of species rate, rate of coverage, rate of height and vegetation integrity index in different interference areas. The dataset is archived in the .jpg、.shp、.xls和.kmz data formats with the compressed data size of 744KB. The analysis paper was published in the Journal of Arid Zone Research, No. 6, Vol. 32, 2015.
