Abstract:

Extreme precipitation dataset on Tibetan Plateau (1961-2017) was developed based on the daily precipitation data of 78 weather stations on the Tibetan Plateau from 1961-2017, integrating with the 99th percentile threshold method. The extreme precipitation indexes include extreme precipitation, extreme precipitation days, extreme precipitation intensity and extreme precipitation contribution rate. The dataset include: (1) geo-location of the stations; (2) extreme precipitation threshold of each station; (3) the date and precipitation of extreme precipitation events; (4) the extreme precipitation index of each station; (5) the annual extreme precipitation index from 1961 to 2017. The paper related to this dataset has been published at Journal of Natural Resources, Vol. 35, No. 12, 2020.Browse
