Abstract:
The Aerial Bay Islands is located in the Aerial Bay in northeast of the North Andaman Island, the Bay of Bengal. It belongs to the North and Middle Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Its geo-location is 13°17′36″N-13°26′18″N, 92°57′56″E-93°6′14″E. The main islands in the Aerial Bay Islands are Smith Island, Excelsior Island and Table Island. In which, the biggest one is the Smith Island, with the area of 20.26 km². The total area of the Islands is 24.94 km², and the coastline is 66.66 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files and archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 345 KB (Compressed to 141 KB in two files).
