Abstract:
Koch Island is located between Baffin Island and Rowley Island, northwest of Bray Island. It is part of the Canada Arctic Archipelago and belongs to Nunavut Region, Canada. Its geo-location is between 69°27′33″N and 69°45′36″N, 78°51′30″W and 77°56′32″W. The dataset consists of Koch Island and two small adjacent Islands or rocks. The total area is 465.72 km², in which the area of the Coach Island is 464.79 km². The total coastline is 139.90 km long, in which the Coach Island is 131.73 km long. The dataset is developed based on the Google Earth images and the referenced maps. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files, archived in both .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 267 KB (compressed to 114 KB in two files).
