Abstract：
The Dataset of Grain Self-sufficiency Capacity on the Tibetan Plateau and its Adjacent Area (1985-2016) was developed based on the data from the statistical yearbooks. The dataset covers 202 counties (districts), in which the boundaries of 5 counties were clipped along 2500 m above sea levels. The dataset includes: (1) annual capacity for grain self-sufficiency on the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent area during 1985-2016; (2) capacity for grain self-sufficiency in each province of the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent area in different periods from 1985 to 2016; (3) average capacities for grain self-sufficiency at the county level on the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent area from 2010 to 2016. The dataset is archived in .xlsx and .shp data formats, and consists of 8 data files with data size of 20.3 MB (compressed into one single data file with 6.58 MB). The analysis paper based on the dataset was published in Journal of Geographical Sciences, Vol. 30, No.10, 2020.Browse
